The Light Before

 

is a photographic exploration of the elusive time, in the light before dawn, when the waters are still. Available only in the imagination or to the bleary eyes of seaside dog walkers. The soft gray and the beige ripples of an estuary - a space to allow the mind to wonder, to dream. The windmills are in our minds and far out to sea. A place for tiny details amid the haze.
